Squeaky clean

The front of my shirt is covered in white stuff, as if I have been scratching my beard and dandruff fell out. I was only eating rice crackers.

Thankfully I don’t have a beard, but I do have dandruff. I found on the internet that it would be best not to use shampoo. Shampoo is poo, according to numerous health and beauty bloggers. So what am I going to use to wash my hair?
Imagine me scratching my non existing beard, perhaps knitting my eyebrows together. Can you imagine me looking as if I’m thinking very hard. Are you impressed? Well don’t be, because the answer is out there. Right there on the Internet made by the same people who disapprove of shampoo in the first place. The solution is simple: use soap bars.
Don’t you just love that squeaky clean feeling after washing your hair? You still get that, even when washing your hair with soap. I have two favorites, one is a soap bar made from olive oil (Aleppo soap) and the other is a regular rose scented soap bar. I even have a smaller version of that rosy one near the sofa. When I am feeling low, the aroma lifts my spirits.

But now I need to get rid of this white dust on my shirt. My partner (who is without facial hair altogether, thank God for small mercies) will be arriving home soon and I don’t want him thinking I am addicted to sniffing white stuff. Either rice crackers, soap or another white substance…
